A lot of people we've spoken to have told us that they don't really need a website, but if they own a domain name for emails, people often assume that they have a website only to find the default message put up by the supplier of the domain.

Basic web design package from £699 +VAT
Our basic website package starts with 5 pages - you decide what the content is, we design it - and when we say 'design' we mean it. You are not constrained by templates and are not forced into boxes. Have a look at our favourite designs to get a flavour of what we do.
We don't like forcing anyone into contracts so our designs are separate from any hosting or support packages. If you want hosting, we can offer that or you can look around for the best offers. The only time you are going to need to host with us is if you choose the 'clever stuff' as described below.
Clever stuff
We use Microsoft technology (ASP and ASP.NET) to create responsive, data-driven websites - and these can range from very simple list-management sites to highly complex business process applications.

If you look at the cantiana website you will notice the link "event admin". This leads to a login page and behind this is a page that allows the leader of the choir to put in details of performances, concerts, rehearsals, social events etc into a table. Behind the scenes, the different entries are organised so that they are displayed on different web pages depending on what they are - so for example, concerts will be displayed on both the schedule page and the concert page while rehearsals will only show up on the schedule page.
Is your website full of up-and-coming events or does it require constant updating of lists? This could be a very cost-effective and simple way of keeping your information up to date.
This is an example of a limited content management system (CMS)- there is no requirement for a full-blown CMS - in fact, that would be pretty scary for the person updating! So this way, it's a safe way of updating the site with very little to go wrong.
The data is held on our servers, so the admin part of the site would have to be hosted by us - but you could still host the rest of the site somewhere else - we would just have to sort out the menu links.

If you have a look at the east kent women in business website, you will see a members login link. If you are a member, this takes you to an area where you can update your details and search for other members. If you are an administrator, you can do all the things described in the membership management page.
This is a fairly basic, easy to use system with no extra bells or whistles - ideal for organisations and groups on a budget. It is always possible to add further functions to fit in with your requirements.

How we work
We believe that there is more to the web than designing in squares! The computer screen is ideally suited to show off glorious colours and creative work. That's why we use a lbgraphics - a graphic design company to help us produce unique and creative designs for our websites and applications.
