Information management

We offer you the opportunity to use your data more productively by understanding your needs and developing systems that fit your business. We have experience with both Microsoft SQL Server and Access databases, and have developed applications using Microsoft technology (ASP, ASP.NET) for a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors, including event management (hospice), contact management (chamber of commerce), stock control (retail) plus many more.
A good example of an online system that was developed to improve office productivity is the job management application we developed for Trosol.
Data management for scientists
We have experience in developing scientific applications, both for our partner company, primabio, and in the past for Shell Agrochemicals and Shell Forestry. We are also involved in EFCOVAL, a pan-European project set up to evaluate the feasibility of using standardised dietary survey software across different European countries. We are using this experience in the development of our plant breeding software, Chiasma™.
Online surveys and reporting
In collaboration with Foster & Brown Research, we have developed several online surveys and online reporting of data from surveys for several clients, using our Lodeseeker™ technology. A most exciting development is our current involvement with Gloucestershire County Council and the Gloucestershire Healthy Schools Team, where we have developed 2 online applications, the Online Pupil Survey and Healthy Schools Audit
Website design & development
We believe that there is more to the web than designing in squares! The computer screen is ideally suited to show off glorious colours and creative work. That's why we use a lbgraphics - a graphic design company to help us produce unique and creative designs for our websites and applications.

Consultancy & Advice
We are signed up as a partner with the EFCOVAL project - an EU funded project, managed by TNO Quality of Life in Holland and with 15 partners from 11 countries across the European Union. We will be involved in designing the web portal that will keep all the partners informed of progress as well as designing the public-facing website. We will also be on hand to help explain the technical aspects of the software that will be developed during the course of the project.
